On November 15, Mr. Liu Qitao – Chairman of CCCG met with Peter O'Neill – Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby, capital of Papua New Guinea. Mr. Liu Qitao said that CCCG has a development history of more than 10 years in Papua New Guinea, and had built more than 20 projects including ports, roads, bridges and workshops, making positive contributions to Papua New Guinea’s economic and social development. In particular, this year, CHEC under CCCG overcame numerous difficulties and efficiently completed the China-aided road project in Papua New Guinea with high quality, providing an important guarantee for the smooth hosting of the APEC Summit and delivering a satisfactory answer to the government and people of Papua New Guinea. Mr. Liu pointed out that as a world's leading comprehensive service provider of infrastructure, CCCG had businesses in more than 150 countries and regions, and could provide high-quality integrated infrastructure services for global customers. As an important country on “the Belt and Road”, , Papua New Guinea has a broad prospect for economic development. Prime Minister Peter O'Neill expressed welcome to the visit of Mr. Liu Qitao and his delegation and spoke highly of the development of CCCG and CHEC in Papua New Guinea.
