On December 24, the first riprap of Oran Port Offshore Breakwater Reinforcement Project Phase I in Algeria was realized and the riprap-fill of the first ship of aggregated rocks was completed, marking that the project officially entered the implementation stage.
The smooth riprap-fill of aggregated rocks effectively promotes such work as aggregated rock purchase, personnel integration and equipment deployment and also makes CHEC accumulate experience for the smooth development of follow-up projects.
The first section of Oran Port Offshore Breakwater Reinforcement Project in Algeria was jointly constructed by CHEC and the consortia composed of local companies, and CHEC’s construction accounted for 51%. This project covers the reinforcement of two sections of breakwaters, with a total length of 1540m. The total amount of project riprap is about 1.2 million tons and 6782 blocks are to be prefabricated and installed.
